A Painterly Effect

                                                                              Hello everyone,

                                                                 I hope you all had a wonderful
                                                                 weekend. The weather was beautiful
                                                                and we made the best of it. We enjoyed
                                                                an evening stroll on the beach,breakfast
                                                                sitting out over the water in Victoria by
                                                                the sea on Saturday. Brunch on Sunday
                                                                at Sir Andrew Mac Phails,  a beautiful
                                                                afternoon in Georgetown and some
                                                                down time in the boathouse.Love these
                                                                perfect summer days........a
                                                               great way to welcome August!

I was going to share a tour of the garden

but these shots caught my eye.

                                                                    too bad I can't paint!

                                                                      The clematis and delphiniums look
                                                                       so pretty together.

                                                                        A geranium and daylily with a
                                                                        bokeh  effect.

                                                                         I am quite sure you can never have
                                                                         too many clematis in the garden.
