A Gingham Garden Tea

                                                                         Hello everyone,

                                                            It is mainly cloudy here but warm
                                                            enough to enjoy a casual afternoon
                                                            tea in the garden.

                                                                     I made strawberry shortcakes
                                                                     and iced tea for our tea today.

                                                                      The delphiniums are attracting the
                                                                       hummingbirds so it is nice to watch
                                                                       them flutter from flower to flower.

I do enjoy strawberry shortcake

with homemade biscuits and

whipped cream.

                                                                  The picnic basket was a gift
                                                                   from my sister in law several
                                                                   years ago.

                                                     Sit and chat for awhile and enjoy
                                                                the beauty of nature all around!
